Craig Halsall

Craig joined Reach British School in 2022 as the Principal. With a BA Honours degree in Economics, QTS, Masters in Educational Leadership and Management, and NPQH, he has 18 years of senior leadership experience. He has held positions at schools in the UK, Asia, the USA and the Middle East. Craig previously helped to launch the Association of British Schools Overseas (AoBSO) and has presented at COBIS, AoBSO and Teach First conferences. He is currently a lead BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspector.

Away from work, Craig has always enjoyed working in the community having previously been a Magistrate, parent governor and FA qualified football coach. He is currently a Global Ambassador and member of the Education Advisory Board for United World Schools, a global charity offering education opportunities to children in extreme poor and rural areas of Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal and Madagascar.

Craig is married to Sarah and they have five children, the youngest of which will join them in Abu Dhabi as their other children complete their pre and post-18 education in the UK.
