David Hickey

Vice President, Advocacy at International Sign Association

David Hickey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advocacy and government relations. Currently serving as the Vice President of Advocacy at the International Sign Association since January 2006, David oversees the organization's legislative, advocacy, legal, and grassroots initiatives. Prior to this role, David worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, where as the Director of Government Relations, legal initiatives were developed, including reforms in telecommunications and immigration that were signed into law. David's career began in the U.S. Senate, providing counsel on key legislative matters. Academically, David holds a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University at Albany.
