Daniel Vocelle is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of cytometry and chemical engineering, currently serving as an Emerging Leader at the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry and as Assistant Director at Michigan State University. Vocelle's expertise spans scientific consultation, user training, and research project support, with a strong background in pharmacology, toxicology, and quantitative biology. As President of the GLIIFCA, Vocelle has organized annual meetings and secured corporate sponsorships. With a dual PhD in Chemical Engineering and Quantitative Biology from Michigan State University, Vocelle has published several scientific papers and developed innovative methodologies for siRNA therapeutics. Previous experience includes roles as a field engineer at Schlumberger, a process engineer at URS, and leadership positions in various organizations, showcasing a commitment to mentoring and professional development within engineering and scientific communities.

ISAC’s mission is to serve a multidisciplinary community by leading technological innovation, scholarship, and the exchange of knowledge in the quantitative cell sciences. Our vision is to advance the impact of cytometry in meeting current and emerging challenges in the life, biomedical, and physical sciences. ISAC produces CYTO, the annual international congress of cell analysis technology and applications. CYTO 2019 will be held from June 22-29 in Vancouver, Canada.
