Wolfgang Hofmann

Wolfgang Hofmann is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in regional security management, currently serving as the Regional Security Manager for Germany and Austria at International SOS since May 2018. In addition to this role, Wolfgang holds the position of Security Manager at both International SOS and Control Risks. Prior to this, Wolfgang served in various capacities within the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) from July 2003 to December 2016, including S3 Officer for Planning & Organisation and Military Intelligence Officer specializing in HUMINT. Wolfgang's educational background includes a Certified Security Manager degree from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a Diplom in Political Science and Government from Bundeswehr University Munich, complemented by a brief academic stint at The University of Texas at Austin in 2008.
