Andrew Hammond is an experienced historian and curator currently serving at the International Spy Museum since September 2020 and as a Public Policy Fellow at The Wilson Center since August 2020. Previous roles include Kluge Fellow at the Library of Congress, Lecturer at Aston University, and Mellon Public Humanities Fellow at The National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Andrew has held visiting scholar and postdoctoral fellow positions at institutions including New York University and The British Library. A former photographer in the Royal Air Force, Andrew also served in the British Army and the Royal Navy during subsequent secondments. Academically, Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Modern History and International Relations from the University of Warwick, alongside additional degrees in International Relations, Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, History, and Political Science.
