Peter Laybourn

Peter Laybourn has extensive work experience in various roles. Peter started their career at Meggitt PLC in 1999, where they served as a Contracts and Commercial Manager until 2005. In 2004, they joined NISP as a Programme Director, where they played a key role in pioneering the industrial symbiosis approach. During their time at NISP, they also facilitated capacity building in multiple countries and provided support software called Synergie. In 2005, they became the Chief Executive of International Synergies Limited, where they continue to work.

Peter Laybourn attended the University of Southampton from 1974 to 1977. During this time, they obtained a First degree in BSc Economics and Ecology. Additionally, they completed a Second Degree in Marine Environmental Management.
