Cristina Bueti

Cristina Bueti currently serves as a Counsellor on metaverse at the International Telecommunication Union, overseeing activities related to the metaverse and advising the ITU Focus Group on the subject. In addition, Cristina holds a Counsellor position focused on IoT and Smart Sustainable Cities, managing policies and the development of international standards. Cristina has also led initiatives to promote the Internet of Things and Smart Sustainable Cities, ensuring alignment with Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, Cristina acts as the ITU Focal Point on Smart Sustainable Cities and contributes as an Advisor on ICTs, Environment, and Climate Change, driving ITU-T activities in these areas. Moreover, Cristina holds a role as Counsellor at the United for Smart Sustainable Cities since May 2016. Educational credentials include a degree from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
