Hanane Naciri, Ph. D has a diverse work experience in the field of telecommunications and research. Hanane started their career at Inria in 1998 as a Researcher, and later worked as an R&D Engineer from 2003 to 2006. Hanane then joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in 2006 as a Radiocommunication & Software Engineer. Recently, they have held the position of Head of the IT Unit in the Telecommunication Development Bureau at ITU since February 2020.

Hanane Naciri, Ph.D, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Université Côte d'Azur from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a D.E.A Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies in Science and Research in computer science from École supérieure en sciences informatiques from 1998 to 1999. Hanane also holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et d'Analyse des Systèmes - ENSIAS, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Hanane began their education in a Mathematics and Physics Preparatory School at lycée Mohamed V Casablanca Morocco from 1993 to 1995, and they completed their high school education with a Baccalauréat Sciences Mathématiques from Lycée El Baroudi Casablanca Morocco in 1993.
