Ioannis Vlachos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the decentralized economy and blockchain technologies. Currently serving as the Commercial Director at Energy Web since November 2019, Ioannis is also a co-founder of Warren Brandeis, a consulting firm focused on strategy and technology for the decentralized economy, and the Chief Technology Officer at ZeroSix, which specializes in carbon credits. Ioannis actively contributes to prominent organizations, including the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, the ITU-T Focus Group on Metaverse, and the Working Group on Digitisation of the Electricity System for ETIP SNET. Additionally, Ioannis is part of the Advisory Board for the Hellenic Blockchain Hub and has been involved with the EUGCC Clean Energy Technology Network. Ioannis holds both an Engineer’s Degree and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
