Jaroslaw K. Ponder currently serves as the ITU Representative for Europe and Head of the Europe Office at the International Telecommunication Union since April 2005, following a series of roles within the organization, including Strategy and Policy Advisor. Ponder's expertise encompasses Information and Communication Technologies, regulation, and policies, particularly in the context of transition economies and European enlargement. Prior experience includes serving as a Consultant for market economics and finance and as a Research Assistant. Jaroslaw has held leadership positions in student government at the University of Warsaw, overseeing key legislative and executive functions. Academic achievements include multiple degrees in Public Administration, Strategic Management, Business Administration, and Economics from several renowned universities, with a focus on ICT sector economics and regulation.
