Reinhard Scholl is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and technology, currently serving as a Senior Executive at the International Telecommunication Union since 2002, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Quantum technologies. As Managing Director of the "AI for Good" initiative and the ITU AI/ML Challenges, Reinhard advances AI applications for societal benefit while contributing as an Observing Member of the European Commission's High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Reinhard is involved in quantum education and community building through "The Art of Reaching Consensus." Previous roles include Program Director for Machine Learning in 5G and board member positions at ICANN. Reinhard holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Diplom-Physiker from the University of Stuttgart.
