Yannick Heiniger

Yannick Heiniger currently serves as the Partnerships Lead and Acting Lead for the Giga Learning Hub at the International Telecommunication Union, focusing on advancing Giga's objectives to bridge the digital divide. As a Visiting Lecturer at the Geneva Graduate Institute and DiploFoundation, Yannick delivers insights on technology diplomacy, particularly in relation to tech governance. Previously, as a Senior Technology Diplomacy and Cyber Advisor with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and in various leadership roles at Swissnex in San Francisco, Yannick has enhanced Switzerland's technology diplomacy initiatives. With a diverse background spanning the International Committee of the Red Cross and other organizations, Yannick combines expertise in digital transformation, partnerships, and public diplomacy. Educational achievements include advanced management and technology policy studies from renowned institutions such as IMD and Stanford University.
