Sahiba Hasanova - Abdullayeva

Sahiba Hasanova - Abdullayeva is an accomplished expert in satellite frequency coordination with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport since December 2010, Sahiba holds the position of advisor and expert. Additionally, Sahiba is an active member of the Frequency Working Party within the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization since March 2016 and served on the Radio Regulations Board and as Vice-Chairperson of Study Group 4 at the International Telecommunication Union from November 2015 to January 2024. Previous roles include designated focal point for ITU-R activities at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan and various engineering and laboratory positions at Radio Television Broadcasting and Satellite Communication Production Unity and Azerbaijan Technical University. Sahiba holds a Master’s degree in Signal Reception, Processing and Transmission System and Facilities, and a Bachelor’s degree in Radiocommunication, Radiobroadcasting and TV, both from Azerbaijan Technical University.
