Francisco Amaral Godinho De Araujo is an experienced professional currently serving as a WTO NTP Intern at the World Trade Organization since May 2023. Prior to this role, Francisco was a Technical Advisor in Industrial Policy at the Ministry of Tourism, Commerce and Industry from October 2020 to May 2023. Francisco also held the position of Head of Exploration at UNDP Timor-Leste, where responsibilities included exploring innovative solutions to achieve UN SDGs by 2030. Additional experience includes acting as Director of Investment Promotion at TradeInvest Timor-Leste, leading the investment promotion department, and serving as an investment manager for the industry sector. Earlier in the career, Francisco worked as a Program Officer where monitoring of government-funded projects was a key responsibility. Francisco's educational background includes a Master's degree in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Adamson University, and a short-term work placement focused on Development Economics and International Development with the US Small Business Administration.
