Frederic Thomas is an experienced international tourism expert currently working with the International Trade Centre, focusing on Eswatini's tourism offer and stakeholder engagement. As a tourism sector specialist at the Global Green Growth Institute, Frederic strengthens the implementation of Sri Lanka's National Adaptation Plan. Frederic serves as an associate professor at the University of Paris 1 - Pantheon Sorbonne and co-founded SolARE, a non-profit organization promoting sustainable tourism development. Additional roles include contributing as a technical advisor for UNESCO, an economic analyst for IPE Global Limited on Bangladesh's tourism master plan, and leading various UNDP initiatives across multiple countries. Frederic holds a PhD in Tourism Economics from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis.
