Elena Olascoaga

Elena Olascoaga is an experienced instructional designer and consultant specializing in gender equality, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), with a focus on sustainability and systemic impact. Currently serving as the Lead Instructional Designer for ITCILO, Elena develops digital training modules on gender equality in climate action. Elena's consultancy, Olascoaga®, implements strategies to integrate gender and DEI into public policies and corporate social responsibility programs, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. As the former Executive Director of Ecosistema para la Co-Creación de Oportunidades A.C., Elena led initiatives that secured numerous grants for gender equality projects. Previous roles include designing global courses and managing programs aimed at empowering women and fostering institutional capacity in various sectors. Elena holds a Master of Arts in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies.
