International University for the Humanities and Development is an institution of higher education in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It was established in 2014 by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan.

The mission of the university is to train professionals in science, public service, and business with transformational skills and foreign language knowledge. The university\'s main medium of instruction is English, while other&nbsp;languages such as Italian, Japanese, and Chinese are taught as well.

IUHD has earned a place in the national map of higher education by being the first university in Turkmenistan to implement a credit-based higher education that aligns with European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) guidelines. The university attracts English-speaking national and foreign faculty members with advanced degrees in their fields. Thanks to the rich network of partnerships with world universities IUHD continuously develops its scientific and research potential by engaging in exchange programs and study visits.

Most importantly, we have invested in attracting the best minds of Turkmenistan as our students to ensure our leadership position in education. IUHD students have won numerous awards in national and international contests.
