Steven Bis

Steven Bis is the current CEO and President at International Water-Guard Industries. Steven has over eight years of experience in the aviation industry. Prior to their current position, they were a Senior Program Manager at Avcorp Industries Inc from October 2006 to August 2014. As a Senior Program Manager, they reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for managing several customer programs with annual revenues of over $25 million. Steven was also responsible for developing annual goals and objectives for each project on quality, delivery, customer service, and margin.

During their time at Avcorp Industries Inc, Bis made significant contributions to sales and business development with new and existing customers to target and pursue new opportunities. Steven also successfully managed the product life-cycle from sales calls to delivery, including all proposals, contract negotiations, and production readiness reviews. In addition, they developed the annual sales and program performance budget, and was responsible for meeting all customer contract requirements on an ongoing basis.

Bis is an accomplished manager with a proven track record of success. Under their leadership, the company saw an improvement in delivery ratings to customers from Red (85%) to Gold (100%). The company also saw an improvement in quality ratings to customers from Bronze (97%) to Silver (99.98%). In addition, Bis was recognized world-wide for supplier excellence by Boeing Commercial, 3 years in a row (2011, 2012, 2013). Steven also received Gold supplier awards from Boeing Winnipeg in 2012 and 2013.

In terms of new business development, Bis pursued, quoted, negotiated and won over $50m in new work contracts from customers. Steven was also a member of the 2013 Company negotiating team on the recent 6 year Union contract renewal. As a result of their efforts, the company saw an improved customer satisfaction rating from 73% to 98%. Steven also negotiated increased pricing on loss making programs, and managed a reduction in production scrap from 4% of revenue to 0.87%.
