Sandra Ruckstuhl, PhD, is an accomplished researcher and expert in fragility, conflict, livelihoods, and water, currently serving as the Research Group Lead and Senior Researcher at the International Water Management Institute since April 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Social Inclusion & Gender Expert at the World Bank, where significant contributions to social analysis methodologies and water security research were made, as well as managing initiatives for the Sustainable Development Solutions Network focused on the Sustainable Development Goals. With a solid foundation in conflict analysis and resolution supported by a PhD from George Mason University, Sandra Ruckstuhl has published key resources such as the Water and Gender Toolkit and the USAID Water and Conflict Toolkit, and has provided training and guidance in various contexts throughout a career spanning over two decades.
