Eleftherios Zacharakis

As a Senior Associate on the Commercial team at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), Eleftherios Zacharakis provides coaching to IWBI projects pursuing WELL Certification, and also supports market development efforts for the WELL Building Standard and IWBI across the EMEA region.

Prior to joining IWBI, Eleftherios worked as a sustainability consultant at the global engineering consulting firm WSP since 2011, based in Gothenburg, Sweden and during 2015 in New York, USA. In his role, he specialized in strategic client advisory with a focus on sustainability, health and well-being in the real estate sector, as well as business development, marketing and education. Eleftherios was one of the first WELL APs and Faculty members in the Nordics and managed the certification process of the first registered projects in Sweden to achieve certification. In addition, he coordinated the efforts of WSP Global Inc. to become one of the first WELL Performance Testing Organizations.

Eleftherios holds a MSc in Building Performance Design from Chalmers University of Technology and a MEng in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Also, he is a LEED AP with specialization in O+M, Miljöbyggnad coordinator and Project Management Professional (PMP).
