SVP, Global Market Development at International WELL Building Institute

Stephen brings a broad range of experiences in his 25+ year career of supporting interior solutions and workplace strategies in commercial markets worldwide. In his current position as Senior Vice President of Global Market Development, Stephen leads IWBI’s – International WELL Building Institute global market development strategy. Stephen spends most of his time educating senior stakeholders who understand that human health has a profound impact on corporate performance indicators – including productivity, engagement & resilience. He also helps organizations discover the best place to begin their WELL journey to leverage WELL strategies supporting ESG/ GRESB / UN SDG’s & overall Human Capital reporting goals at scale.

Prior to joining IWBI in 2016, Stephen was based in New York City for over 15 years on Global Account teams with Haworth, Interface, and Steelcase. Stephen also spent 12 years with Armstrong in various US locations and sales positions including Field Sales & Operations Manager, National Account Manager & Corporate Trainer. It was when he moved to Hong Kong from 2012-2016, as Sr. Global Account Manager, that he was given the first opportunity to promote the WELL Building Standard™ (WELL™) to the market.
