Xi Zhang is a Senior Associate of Business Development at IWIB Asia, focusing Eastern Asia. International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI) is a public benefit corporation with a mission to improve human health and well-being through the built environment. IWBI administers the WELL Building Standard® (WELL), the world’s first building standard focused exclusively on human health and wellness. The WELL building certification program is an evidence-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring the performance of building features and other aspects of the built environments that impact the health and well-being of the people in the spaces they create.

As a Senior Associate based in Shanghai, her work in IWBI (Asia) focuses on business expansion and relationship fostering for Asian clients and projects. Prior to joining IWBI, Xi worked as a sustainability consultant with more than 4 years of experience in healthy and green building industry. The project typologies cover both new and existing facilities, ranging from high-end offices, large-scale commercial complex, retails to industrial campuses. She has solid professional experiences of building performance analysis for sustainable design consulting, code compliance energy modeling and daylight simulation. She also has experiences on real estate sustainability assessment and has evaluated potential strategies for ESG performance improvements on enterprise level.

Xi received her masters degree of Architectural Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, US, in 2017. She is also a WELL AP, LEED AP BD+C and LEED AP ID+C.
