Darrell Bowman is a nationally recognized human factors engineer with over 30 years of experience in vehicle design, research, and product management across all major transportation modes. Currently serving as the Chief Technical Engineer for HMI and Ergonomics at International Motors, LLC, Darrell has previously held key roles including Director of Fleet Compliance and Training at Torc Robotics and Senior Product Planning Manager at Volvo Trucks North America. With a notable background in leading human factors research at Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, Darrell has secured over $10 million in funding for more than 20 projects. Darrell holds an M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University and degrees in Aviation Psychology and Industrial and Systems Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and Virginia Tech, respectively.
