Thiemo Fojkar serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Internationaler Bund (IB) since April 2009, providing overall management and strategic direction for the organization. Responsibilities include political representation, corporate governance, financial management, environmental management, quality management, IT organization, corporate communication, and oversight of subsidiaries. Prior to this role, Thiemo Fojkar held various executive positions, including board member at Bildungswerk der Baden-Württembergischen Wirtschaft e. V., Apontis GmbH, and BBQ gGmbH from April 1988 to March 2009, and as Geschäftsführer in the Bundeswehr from September 1981 to March 1988, where the last position was as Hauptmann Kompaniechef Leopard 2. Education was completed at Bundeswehr University Munich from 1977 to 1981 with a degree in Diplom-Pädagoge (univ), specializing in pedagogy.
