Embedded Software Engineer at International Trucks

Edward Gavlas is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently working at International Truck and Engine (Navistar) since April 2010, where responsibilities include developing new software features for BCM/Cab controllers, creating integration test plans, and auditing unit testing. Previously, Edward served as an Application Engineer at ETAS from May 2003 to February 2009, contributing to vehicle system and ECU development tools. Edward also participated in various charitable software projects as a Developer for Lansing Give Camp and Ann Arbor Give Camp in 2009, focusing on web development and software release management. Prior to these roles, Edward worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Vetronix Corporation from November 1996 to May 2003, specializing in embedded software for automotive diagnostic tools. Earlier experience includes a position as a Validation Engineer at ICI Inc from 1991 to 1993. Edward holds a Bachelor’s degree in E-Business from the University of Phoenix and an Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology from Madonna University.
