George Chen

George Chen is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Digital Practice at The Asia Group, where George has been instrumental in launching the Hong Kong and Taiwan offices since June 2023. Concurrently, George serves as Managing Director and Co-Chair of the Digital Practice at AmCham HK and as a Board Member on its Executive Committee. In academia, George holds multiple teaching roles, including Distinguished Visiting Professor at Schwarzman Scholars, Senior Fellow and Faculty Member at The University of Hong Kong, and Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong. Additionally, George is a member of the International Committee at National Chengchi University and chairs Bondee's Trust and Safety Advisory Board. George's contributions extend to being a Salzburg Global Fellow and a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group for the Internet Governance Forum. Educationally, George is a candidate for a Doctor of Public Administration at The University of Hong Kong, holds a Master’s degree in International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
