German Romanov possesses extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as a Tracker at the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) since 2021. Previously, German held the position of Strategist at Microsoft from 2014 to 2022, where responsibilities included developing long-term business strategies and enhancing the deployment of cloud services. As Chief Information Officer at ER-Telecom from 2011 to 2014 and Euroset from 2004 to 2010, German played pivotal roles in IT and telecommunications within major companies. One of the priorities of Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) is financial and expert support to startups in their early development stages. The Fund also plans to launch a variety of educational programs and to perform a number of legislative initiatives.
