German Romanov possesses extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as a Tracker at the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) since 2021. Previously, German held the position of Strategist at Microsoft from 2014 to 2022, where responsibilities included developing long-term business strategies and enhancing the deployment of cloud services. As Chief Information Officer at ER-Telecom from 2011 to 2014 and Euroset from 2004 to 2010, German played pivotal roles in IT and telecommunications within major companies. Earlier career roles included leadership positions at JSC Electrosvyaz and JSC Euroset, as well as Head of the Telco department at MoscomPrivatBank. German holds an MBA from Moscow International Higher Business School MIRBIS and additional qualifications from the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and Moscow State University of Economics.
