Jesse Nathan Kalange

Jesse Nathan Kalange is a prominent leader and technology expert with extensive experience in internet governance and youth empowerment in Uganda. As the Founder and Convener of the East Africa Youth IGF, Jesse fosters youth engagement in shaping regional policies on digital rights and cybersecurity. In the role of Vice President at Internet Society Uganda Chapter, strategic development and advocacy efforts are prioritized to promote an open and accessible Internet. As Country Managing Director at Streetways Uganda e.V., oversight of organizational operations ensures sustainable growth. Jesse also coordinates initiatives at the Internet Society for youth and school governance forums, while serving as Chief Technology Officer at Otobox, focusing on aligning technology strategies with business objectives.
