INET's strong foundation

INET was established jointly by the Communications Authority of Thailand (CAT), TOT Corporation Public Company Limited and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and has continuously expanded its operations ever since.

    * March 1995 Internet Thailand Service Center (ITSC) was established to offer the first
      commercial Internet connection to the general public.
    * October 1997, the center was changed to a state enterprise under the name Internet
