Nimota Garcia

Nimota Garcia, PMP, currently serves as a Junior Project Manager at Internet2 since September 2022. Prior experience includes over 15 years at OSHEAN, Inc., where Nimota held roles as Project and Events Manager and Communications Administrator, managing business events, strategic communications, and an internship program. Additional experience includes mentorship with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women RI's LEAD program, focused on supporting African-American females, and serving as a Case Worker at Tides Family Services, assisting children with significant behavioral challenges. Nimota holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
