Natalia Vesga

Natalia Vesga has a comprehensive work experience spanning several roles in risk management, credit products, and relationship management. Natalia is currently working as a Senior Vice President of Risk Management at InterNex Capital since July 2022. Prior to this, Natalia held the same position at InterNex Capital from an unspecified start date.

Before their role at InterNex Capital, Natalia worked at BankUnited as a Vice President and Credit Products Officer from July 2018 to July 2022. In this position, they performed credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring activities for corporate clients, collaborated with relationship managers and credit officers, and participated in drafting and negotiating legal documents.

Earlier in their career, Natalia served as the Senior Vice President, Director of Risk Management (formerly SVP, Underwriter) at Trade Finance Solutions Inc. from August 2016 to April 2018. Natalia successfully managed financial and legal due diligence for business acquisitions, established financing structures, and closed three acquisitions worth over $200MM in assets.

Prior to that, Natalia worked at Wells Fargo Capital Finance in various roles. From June 2014 to August 2016, they were a Relationship Manager in Asset Based Lending, managing a portfolio of corporations in the U.S. and Latin America. In addition, they worked as a Portfolio Management Consultant from April 2012 to June 2014, where they participated in establishing a new department for overseeing marketing strategies in Latin America. Furthermore, Natalia served as a Senior Credit Analyst from April 2010 to April 2012, underwriting structured credits and performing ongoing credit reviews, with a focus on financial institutions in South America.

Natalia began their career at Banco de Crédito BCP as a Credit/Financial Analyst in International Corporate Banking from November 2007 to March 2010. In this role, they conducted credit analysis of top-tier corporations in the U.S. and Latin America.

Natalia Vesga holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to their Master's degree, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Universidad de Los Andes, which they pursued from 1998 to 2004. Natalia also acquired a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same university from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Natalia Vesga has obtained certifications in International Trade Finance from the FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL BANKERS ASSOCIATION INC FIBA in 2012 and in Risk Management from CESA in 2005.
