Akshath Mangudi

Akshath Mangudi currently serves as the President of GPUG VIT-AP, overseeing all club operations since April 2024. Previously, Akshath held the position of Technical Lead at Women in Open Source, VIT-AP, from September 2023 to September 2024, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on technical solutions and initiating Open Source Talks. Akshath also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Swimlane, working with the AI/ML team on LLM benchmarks from May to July 2024, and contributed as a Projects Team Member at Microsoft Student Chapter VIT-AP from March to May 2024, engaging in machine learning tasks. Additionally, Akshath was involved as a Technical Developer at LIT DAC VIT Amaravati from November 2023 to May 2024. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at VIT-AP University, expected to be completed in September 2026, along with high school diplomas from FIITJEE and Redmond High School.
