AGC INTERPANE

Interpane Glas Industrie AG is one of Europe's most important flat glass processors. The company was founded in 1971 by Georg F. Hesselbach and has its headquarters in Lauenförde, Germany. At 11 locations throughout Europe, we produce high-quality glazing products. Mid-2012 Interpane entered a strategic alliance with AGC Glass Europe. This created an outstanding glass portfolio, giving customers across Europe faster access to products and services. Our product range includes float glass, low-iron float glass, high-quality coated insulating glass, sound-proofing glass, solar-control glass and safety glass. At the "Gateway to the Bavarian Forest", not far from Deggendorf, the Interpane factory in Plattling produces high-quality semifinished products and insulation glass. On the site of 65,000 m², more than 200 members of staff ensure smooth operation all the way from processing to sales and marketing. High-performance basic glass for the construction and solar markets are supplied to southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and south-eastern Europe. For building projects, high-quality iplus and ipasol insulation glass is delivered to window and façade manufacturers around the world. Interpane Plattling specializes in fulfilling logistically difficult fixed-size and insulation glass orders. Magnetron sputter technology is used for the coating of the thermal insulation and solar control products. Because of its highly functional product range in the areas of thermal insulation and solar control glazing, the Plattling factory has specialized in supplying major building projects. Experience gained over decades in this challenging field of business has made Interpane a competent and reliable partner for building projects as well as in day-to-day business. Since the end of 2012 Interpane Plattling can deliver panes measuring up to 18 x 3.21 metres that feature solar protection and thermal insulation coatings.
