Role definition

Drive success in Chicagoland’s meetings and events industry by delivering our language services to planners at large corporations, strengthening key partnerships, and building lasting relationships. Through in-person meetings, networking, and market development, you’ll expand our reach and make a significant impact locally. Our potential and existing customers are some of the region’s most prominent corporations, giving you the opportunity to work with industry leaders and create meaningful connections!

Responsibilities

  • Foster and close new clients.

  • Produce new client relationships.

  • Develop sales and networking strategies to develop new business.

  • Develop prospective clients through several strategies.

  • Responsible for communicating with prospective clients for relationship development.

  • Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process.

  • Monitor clients’ satisfaction levels with delivery, quality and customer service.

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationship with clients.

  • Follows-up regularly with clients for continuous improvement, farming, upselling and cross-selling of services.

  • Respond promptly to customer questions and requests.

Requirements

  • 2 years of proven experience selling and/or working in the MCE industry

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship management abilities

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets

  • Comfortable working with CRM systems

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-starter with high initiative

  • Flexibility/adaptability

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Teamwork mindset

Preferred additional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Proficiency in another language

  • Experience in the Interpretation and Translation Industry
