Johanna Katz-Searls

Johanna Katz-Searls is an experienced Interpreter Education Specialist at Sorenson Communications since June 2019 and a Professional Freelancer at Interpretek since October 2018. Additionally, Johanna has been working as a freelance interpreter and translator since August 2018. Proficient in American Sign Language, Protactile Language, Lengua de Señas Argentina, International Signs, Spanish, and English, skills are well-supported by an extensive educational background, including a Master of Arts in Development Economics and International Development from Gallaudet University (2013-2019) and multiple Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Media Studies and Spanish Language and Literature from Gallaudet University (2008-2012). Further specialization in interpreting was achieved through a certificate program at Sorenson VRSII (2018-2019).
