Joel Hernandez Alcantara

Joel Hernandez Alcantara has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. JOEL currently serves as the Internal Audit Director at Interprotección. Previously, they held the position of Financial Director at Prudential Insurance Mexico, where they played a key leadership role in developing and leading the capitalization and tax strategy to support business growth. JOEL also handled business planning, investments, treasury, taxes, and financial reporting. Before that, they worked as the Controller Subdirector at Metlife, where they were instrumental in implementing financial frameworks, expense control measures, and tax strategies for multiple legal entities. JOEL also held the position of Internal Audit Manager at Grupo Tribasa and worked as a Senior Auditor at KPMG, where they contributed to corporate restructuring projects and provided support for tax-related initiatives.

Joel Hernandez Alcantara completed their Masters in Finance with a concentration in Valuation from Universidad Anáhuac, where they studied from 2001 to 2004.
