Jim Henning

Jim Henning is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Interra Credit Union. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including positions at Teachers Credit Union, UPS, and the United States Air Force.

Jim began their career in 1990 as an Avionics & Guidance Technician in the United States Air Force. Jim served for six years before transitioning to the private sector, taking a position as a Financial Analyst at UPS in 1996. Jim remained with UPS for six years before joining Teachers Credit Union as Vice President of Finance in 2002. Jim held this position for 14 years before being promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Interra Credit Union in 2016.

In their current role, Jim manages the investment portfolio, oversees cost accounting and cash management activities, and develops the annual budget. Jim also implements Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) procedures and manages the commercial credit underwriting and commercial credit due diligence processes.

Jim Henning received their Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from Coastal Carolina University. Jim also attended South Bend/Mishawaka Leadership.

They are on a team with David Birky - EVP, Chief Strategy Officer, Phil Wiens - SVP, Chief Lending Officer, and Andy Marshall - EVP, Chief Operating Officer. Their manager is Amy Sink, Chief Executive Officer.
