Jianzhou Zhao

Jianzhou Zhao is a Digital Research Analyst and eResearch Trainer at Intersect since August 2016, specializing in providing computing training related to data manipulation, programming, automation, and high-performance computing. Jianzhou has previously worked as an eResearch Training Specialist at the University of Sydney, where contributions included supporting the Intersect training program and managing high-performance computing. As a Research Assistant at UNSW, Jianzhou engaged with the pool industry on energy-efficient systems and pursued a PhD focused on energy efficiency in swimming pool filtering and heating under the supervision of distinguished faculty. Additional roles include Project Manager at Blue Tribe Co. and Business Development Intern at UNSW Innovations, where Jianzhou assessed new technologies and supported commercialization efforts. Jianzhou holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Engineering in Photovoltaic and Solar Energy from UNSW and has an academic background from Nanjing Foreign Languages School.
