Aaron Marshall

Director, Information Technology at Intersect ENT

Aaron Marshall has a significant amount of work experience in the IT field. Aaron started their career at Clinimetrics where they worked as an Information Technology Manager, Senior Information Technology Manager, Senior Clinical Systems Manager, and Associate Director of Clinical Systems. During their time at Clinimetrics, they led various projects such as the implementation of SAS 9.1, migration and validation of Oracle Clinical, RDC, TMS, AERS, and a gap analysis and remediation for enterprise compliance.

Afterwards, Marshall joined NeurogesX, Inc. as the Director of IT. Here, they managed the transformation of IT operations to support the launch of Qutenza. Aaron also assisted with outsourced commercial support and the deployment of infrastructure, communications, ERP, CRM, and Datamart.

Following their role at NeurogesX, Inc., Marshall worked at VIVUS, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology and later as the Senior Director of IT and Facilities. At VIVUS, Inc., they implemented a strategic IT plan and budget to refresh the IT infrastructure and systems. Aaron also established standards for IT operations and synchronized controls for SOX and GxP compliance. Additionally, they deployed Exchange 2013 and facilitated the migration of all users and devices.

Currently, Marshall works as the Director of Information Technology at Intersect ENT. In this role, they are responsible for the overall IT operations and has led several key projects, including the acquisition and integration of Fiagon, the divestment as part of the Medtronic purchase, and the integration of Intersect IT into Medtronic. Aaron has also implemented IT transformation programs, including QAD cloud (ERP) upgrade/transformation, Workday and Veeva pharmacovigilance implementations. Marshall has also focused on refreshing cloud, onsite, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity systems, processes to adhere to best practices while maintaining SOX and GxP compliance.

Prior to their career in IT, Marshall served in the California Army National Guard as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Aaron received several awards and certifications during their service.
