Corinne Blankenship has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Corinne started their career at ALZA Corporation in 1995, where they worked as a Chemical Engineer III, focusing on product and process development for a specific implant. Corinne then moved on to Cohesion Technologies in 2000 as a Process Engineer III, where they developed a process for a bio-resorbable surgical sealant. In 2001, they joined DURECT Corporation as a Process Engineer III, where they developed manufacturing processes for controlled release injectable products. Corinne also worked on aseptic isolator processing capability for a protein injectable platform.
Corinne later worked at Honeywell as a Chemical Process Engineer, implementing capital projects and conducting qualification studies. After that, they joined Abbott Vascular as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer on a contract basis, followed by a role at Corium International as a Senior Engineer. At Corium International, they focused on process development, process improvements, and raw material sterilization for a micro-needle drug delivery patch.
Blankenship's most recent position is at Intersect ENT, Inc., where they hold the role of Sr. Prin R&D Engineer. Corinne also served as an Advisor, Principal Manufacturing Engineer, and Senior Manufacturing Engineer during their time with the company.
Corinne Blankenship received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Corinne later pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, completing their studies from 1992 to 1995.
