Beatrice Sgorbissa

Beatrice Sgorbissa is a highly skilled medical and public health professional currently serving as a Medical Coordinator for the INTERSOS Italian Mission since September 2023. Sgorbissa is also a fourth-year public health resident at the Università degli Studi di Padova, with a focus on humanitarian medicine, international health cooperation, and health policy. In addition to academic endeavors, Sgorbissa is an accomplished Scientific Technical Writer for Salute Internazionale, contributing to various publications on global health issues. Previous roles include an intern with Azienda ULSS 6 Euganea, a research assistant at Medici con l'Africa Cuamm, and founder of Strada SiCura, which provided critical health services to marginalized groups during the COVID-19 pandemic.
