Dan Mihalik

Dan Mihalik has a diverse work experience in communications and media events. Dan started their career as a journalist at the Purdue Exponent and later worked as an intern at the John Purdue Club. Dan then gained experience as a student assistant in the Purdue Sports Information Department.

Mihalik's career advanced as they became a Sports Communications Assistant at the University of Georgia, where they served as the media relations contact for soccer and swimming and diving teams. Dan also promoted student-athletes to various All-Conference, All-District, and All-America teams.

Moving forward, Mihalik worked at the Big Ten Conference as the Assistant Director of Communications and led media events, including preseason media days and postseason tournaments. Dan also served as the Bob Hammel Communications Intern.

In 2014, Mihalik joined the KemperLesnik company as an Account Supervisor for Media Events and Operations, where they managed PR strategies and media operations for basketball properties. Dan later became a Senior Account Executive and earned greater responsibilities during their tenure.

Mihalik's most recent position is at Intersport, where they currently hold the role of Director of Communications.

Dan Mihalik completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication & Health and Fitness at Purdue University from 2003 to 2008.
