Michael J. Levitt founded Michaels in 1973. Today's Michaels is a national leader in residential real estate and the nation’s largest privately-held owner of affordable housing. In 1993, Mike established The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation, which administers scholarships to Michaels residents.
