Carla R. Deflorio

Carla R. DeFlorio, MBA, CAE, currently serves as the Director of Region and Chapter Relations at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) since September 2023. Previously, from June 2019 to September 2023, Carla held the position of Director of Support Group and Chapter Services at the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, where notable achievements included converting over 400 in-person support group meetings to virtual format during the pandemic. Carla's extensive experience includes leadership roles at CRD Resources, Artful IMPACT!, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and other organizations, demonstrating a strong background in chapter relations, operational management, and effective volunteer coordination. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Dominican University and a BA in Broadcast Communications from Columbia College Chicago, complemented by professional education at MIT.
