Safa Ben Krima

Safa BEN KRIMA, PhD-Eng, is a Senior Plant Scientist at Interstellar Lab. With a background in plant pathology, genetics, and microbiology, Safa has extensive experience in research and project management. Safa's expertise lies in adapting phytopathogenic fungi to genetically heterogeneous host populations, with a focus on durum wheat. Safa has also conducted studies on genetic diversity in wheat landraces and resistance in banana trees. Through various roles in different companies and organizations, Safa has developed a strong skill set in laboratory work, data analysis, and field research. Safa holds a double degree in Agronomic Engineering and Plant Protection, along with a Bachelor's in Biotechnology.
