Akano Olanrewaju

Akano Olanrewaju has a diverse work experience. They started their career as an intern at Idea Konsult Ltd, where they worked on personal projects using Java and gained experience in binary encoding and message extraction. They then joined Wavepalm Technology Solution as a Mobile Software Engineer, where they developed Android mobile apps with Java and React Native. During their time at Wavepalm, they successfully delivered two major mobile apps to the Play Store. After that, they worked as a Contractor Senior Software Engineer at CEAR, where they contributed to the backend system of a globally recognized research institute. Subsequently, they joined Interswitch Group as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in backend development and working with various technologies such as Kafka, MSSQL DB, Docker, Azure, Kubernetes, and Spring Security. At Interswitch, they focused on building APIs secured with Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth2 protocol, and also worked on the presentation layer for merchant approval. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at Emtech for Modern Central Banking, where they provide integration APIs for regulators and automate the onboarding process for new Financial Service Providers (FSPs). Their responsibilities also include developing integration APIs for remittances, crowdfunding, and cryptocurrencies for FSPs on a regulator's platform.

Akano Olanrewaju completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Ibadan from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
