Oghomwen Aigbedion

Oghomwen Aigbedion has work experience in both the Interswitch Group and First City Monument Bank Limited. At Interswitch Group, Oghomwen worked as a Software Engineer starting in July 2018. Interswitch is an Africa-focused digital payments and commerce company, and Oghomwen's role included facilitating electronic money circulation and value exchange. The organization utilized Agile methodologies.

Prior to Interswitch, Oghomwen was employed by First City Monument Bank Limited as a Java Developer. Oghomwen joined the Business Automation team in November 2017 and remained with the company until July 2018. In this role, Oghomwen was responsible for maintaining enterprise applications and ensuring high performance and uptime. Oghomwen also developed web services and APIs to enhance the functionalities of core-banking applications, creating solutions that added value for customers.

Oghomwen Aigbedion obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Benin, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Secure Software Development certification from Pluralsight in May 2020, a Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design certification from LinkedIn in May 2020, an AWS Innovate - Machine Learning & AI Edition Certificate of Attendance from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in September 2018, and a Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD) certification from Sun Microsystems in May 2009.
