Gramen Tontchev has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Gramen started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they designed firmware for Fibre-Channel hard drives and provided network support. Gramen then worked as a Software Developer at Hifn before joining the National Institutes of Health as a Research Fellow, where they developed a website and reviewed clinical trial results for drug-induced liver injury.

After that, Tontchev worked as a Research Fellow at the University at Buffalo, focusing on research projects. Gramen then joined Atlas Development Corporation as a Product Manager, where they developed and implemented a SaaS application used by thousands of physicians. At Allscripts, they served as a Senior Engineer and later as a Senior Project Manager, managing integration projects and developing tools for medical data exchange.

Tontchev also worked as a Project Manager at Prime Healthcare and as a Principal Consultant at Interhealth Consulting. Currently, they are working as a Principal Cloud Engineer at InterSystems. Throughout their career, Tontchev has demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, and healthcare technology.

Gramen Tontchev holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications such as Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
