Frederico Alisson da Silva has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and immunology. Frederico Alisson is currently working as a Staff Scientist at InterVenn Biosciences since July 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at UFRJ, including Assistant Professor from December 2018 to July 2022, Professor Substituto de Imunologia from July 2017 to December 2018, and Postdoctoral Fellow from October 2016 to December 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Professor at FIJ - Faculdades Integradas de Jacarepaguá from March 2018 to December 2018. Frederico Alisson started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine from July 2013 to October 2016, where they conducted research on immune response modulation by carbohydrate antigens present in human tumor cells, mechanisms of risk for the growth and progression of colon cancer associated with red meat consumption, and mechanisms involved in the specific susceptibility of humans to Cholera.

Frederico Alisson da Silva began their education journey at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro with a Bachelor's degree in Ciências Biológicas - Microbiologia e Imunologia. Frederico Alisson studied from 2003 to 2006. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Ciências Biológicas - Biofísica from the same university. This program lasted from 2007 to 2009. Frederico further advanced their education by enrolling in the doctoral program at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Frederico Alisson successfully obtained their Doctorate in Ciências Biológicas - Biofísica after studying from 2009 to 2013.
