C. William Murphy

Dr. Bill Murphy is board certified in Anesthesiology with a Sub-speciality Certification in Pain Management. He is the founder and President/CEO of Hill Country Pain Associates, serves on various boards, and has been instrumental in establishing pain management clinics from San Antonio to the Hill Country.

Dr. Bill Murphy is a San Antonio native and graduated from Lee High School before moving up I-35 to attend the University of Texas in 1971. He graduated with a degree in Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist while attending medical school at UT Southwestern medical school in Dallas. Upon graduation in 1980, he moved back to San Antonio for an internship in Internal Medicine and specialty training in Anesthesiology. He has been in private practice in San Antonio since 1983.
